Full Throttle

Its been a month since I joined my new work place. The switch was always 'round the corner and I had somewhat made up my mind to seek new challenges and a fresh start.

My new work place is a big contrast from my previous one. To begin with, earlier I used to take everything for granted since it was a really big organization. I was just a spoke in the wheel ! Now I am the wheel :) so lots of responsibility , late nights and more ! But I love it. I like the challenging atmosphere.

That's with the good part, the most challenging one was the increased work hours and traveling. Yes traveling and lots of it. I spend atleast 2.5 - 3 hours each day traveling by train or by car if I decide to drive down. Train travel is something I have never done in my life and that too train travel in Mumbai is a big achievement in itself ! If you have been living in Mumbai , train commute is just a way of life. But for outsiders it would sound crazy, unimaginable to travel in such crowded local trains !

I am still adjusting, spending 12+ hours working, traveling is no doubt tiring. To add to it, I sleep very late. So just 5-6 hours of sleep is something that I am trying to work on. My new year resolution had been to improve on that...

Its been a long day today, good fun had some awesome time. So thats keeping me awake a bit longer than usual..

Have a test & docs visit coming up prolly the week after next. Next week is party time on weekend, so cant take the risk of elevated cpk/liver enzymes ! Hope things are looking up on the health front. Not sure how the blood tests will come up, but I haven't felt better in life. With the long travel hours, I don't even have to use a treadmill for exercise now, since running to catch a train and going up & down those gigantic stair cases at the station is a good form of exercise :)

Ciao n Peace.
