IM HIGH

Okay not really. Got my university score yesterday!! I have an awesome score!! Must b in the top 5-10 peeps in my class. My professor told me an hour before the results that I had scored really well in one of the papers. So I was really excited before the results n was sure I would do it this time. After my exams were over, I did some soul searching. I had felt disillusioned or something. But turns out I was definitely NOT.

I am thrilled to bits! But since last week I haven't been doing well on the health front. Had severe cough , cold. It was so acute that I felt breathless couple of nights. So checked up with my regular ENT specialist. 1 week of meds solved my problem. Hope I am in the best of conditions from now on. Campus recruitment might be starting next month.

Phew!

I did not attend classes today. Since I had a doctor's appointment. Might have to miss tomorrow too. I have to work on my stamina in the coming months, before I start working. Else I'm gonna miss exercises , just like the old days :)

Happy New Year !!

I should have posted long time back. But last week was quite hectic. Classes started on 2 jan. Didn't have much time for any outings even on weekends.

New year's eve was spent all drunk :P There were 8 of us. I had to drive against my wishes. By 10:30 even I was all drunk. My friend from aussie land made me drink scotch n beer. He had ordered pitchers of beer. Two of them were wasted by the time we reached the car park. We ate something at 1:30am. Thankfully there was some food left n the crowd had thinned down , by the time we ordered food. So no dancing or anything fancy this NYE. Some peeps suggested goin 2 the Nelly Furtado concert!! WTF! I haven't been to a concert lately. n wont go to any unless U2 or some good band somes up. Deep Purple have grown old. n pop singers really suck these days. Wont mind goin 2 kylie minogue concert though ;)

Well so this year's resolutions were to study n work hard. Looking forward to potential employment in some good organisation. Praying to get a good job before summer. Will have to work real hard next few months now. I hope that i have the will power to keep up. Next month some organisation which is Microsoft partners is goin2 come. I am really confused whether to apply for the job or not. It is not a very big organisation, so dont know how good growth opportunities would be at this place. But nevertheless will appear for the interviews. Do hope I get selected as early as possible, so that I can concentrate for the semester examinations and final year industrial training.

Getting back to NYE topic. This year was bit crazy. I have never got as drunk as I got this time around. One more resolution is : No more booze in 2007 :D Have been working hard on my fitness lately. So dont want to spoil it in any way.

In the dating front, haven't done it in a while now. I feel I still need some time before goin in for a relationship. Dating for fun just doesn't work for me. It becomes too stressfull. Watching other people around makes me wish to pursue sometimes though, just for fun.. But cant help avoiding it , just not in my nature I guess. So have been avoiding close friendships. Not sure if that is the right approach. But it always ends up in a very odd zone for both of us. Haven't thought of 'N' in a long while :-D
