Weekend Blues
Had a really dull weekend. I was supposed to get the blood work done on Sunday morning. So I had taken complete rest on Saturday so that CPK won't be affected. My last test was done in the first week of september. So it has been quite sometime. I was bewildered when the lab assistant mentioned that since I had arrive after 11 on a "Sunday" , they are charging twice the rate!! I was really p!##ed off and wanted to meet the doc. But he wasn't available. I have been doing my lab tests done here since last 12 years n had never heard such a ridiculous excuse in Mumbai. So had to cancel plans for sunday too. Very boring!
I haven't been feeling good lately. There seems to be a problem with my liver. I hope its not a big issue. Also my left leg really hurts when I bend it. It is happening since sometime now. Haven't really gone to my doctor and sought his opinion on these matters. So planning to do that next week.
After coming back from training life here has been very unusual. I seem to be going through a trance like phase. The passion from my work seems to have gone out of the window. I hope the training starting on tuesday might rub me the right way. Interestingly the project I have been associated with is of the health care industry. I hope I become a domain expert over some time. Also I have joined a NGO kind of team in my company which helps disabled people, poor children & others. Looking forward to take active part in its activities.
Next weekend is a long weekend since our Republic day falls on monday. So might go to my aunt's place along with my family. Was planning to drive down, but had to cut short my plans since my leg isn't feeling that good. Last week when I had gone to a nearby hill station , my leg had cramped up so much that I had to walk with a limp. There is no mode of transport other than horses there!! Yeah quite a peculiar place. Since all my friends were there didn't have the heart to go my seperate way. We walked for almost 10kms that day. No wonder my leg isn't in a great shape yet!! Hope it recovers fast. Looking forward to a great weekend ahead!
