Scary Stuff

Its been quite a week, a very scary week. With the swine flu scare sweeping across the globe, it struck Mumbai & Pune this past week. Pune has been the worst affected. Schools & colleges were closed for a week & the government is discouraging people from going to malls & multiplexes for fear of spreading the dreaded disease. Worst thing is, it affects just like the normal flu which is quite contagious. I myself had a scare week before last. Started with low fever on Thursday , I took 2 days off & rested for four days. It was followed by cold & cough which hasn't really been fully cured.

With a weak immune system it is quite scary when such a bug is going around. People in my office specially the ones sitting beside me had cold, cough this week all along. Last week was very long & tiring. On resuming office on Monday , I felt so weak felt like I was about to fall sick again. Somehow managed to end this week on a better note. Feeling a lot stronger now. Still have bit of cough, but I guess it takes me lot of time to get cured cause of the weak immune system.

Work hasn't been great. But taking time off now is difficult as it is a busy part of the year for our project. So probably won't get to take time off work this month. Planning to go see my doc tomorrow , also update him with my health scenario that happened last week.
