Lab Tests & Doc's Visit

Been a long time since my last post. Well I've been busy with work. Once my project was completed I was busy lazing around! Had the lab tests done yesterday. Well CPK, LDH is high yet again. CPK has come down to 426 from the 990s, that was lil relief. But I HAVE to take a look at the treatment when my exams are done. Its been ages since I have taken any real interest in my lab tests,treatment.

I have been on this homeopathy treatment for almost 1 1/2 year. Things have not changed much. My CPK hasn't come down to the normal range & it really gets on my nerves. I'm wondering whether I should go for a second opinion. I'm lil scared to start new treatment. I'm sure if I go to a rheumy he will put me on prednisone / methotrexate. I'm not to keen on that. Since I was able to cope with work stress & weekend lectures at coll quite well this last year. I really don't want my treatment affecting my daily life in any way now.

I really don't know where my DM journey is going. I really have to utilize my time after exams. I'll have to do some research & maybe take more than a second opinion. Once my full time job starts I won't be able to change my treatment or schedule appointments. One more thing on my plate now is my junk food habits. I have to stop that at any cost. High level of liver enzymes have to come down!

Last week I didn't really exercise or had gone for any long walks. I was feeling very stiff. So I took a really long walk from the lab to home. My legs are still hurting! My exams are nearby. This is my final semester. Hope I feel better next few weeks. Need all the strength I can get!
